Single cabin located on the shore of lake Kitkajärvi, at the end of a cape. An excellent holiday destination for those looking for a peaceful lake view all year round. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, one with 2 single beds and another with 2 single beds. In addition, there is a spreadable sofa bed for two in the living room. 29 km to the northwest from Kuusamo, Ruka 21 km, lake Yli-Kitkajärvi 40 m. Rowing boat. Cabin is built in 2017. Living room/kitchen, electric sauna. Lakeside sauna in summer use, there is electricity, no water supply (carrying water, water heating in the heater tank). Boat ramp 1 km. Sandy beach and pier. In winter, 500 m to the nearest cross country ski trail (Holtinniemi ski trail, check the conditon on Ruka's ski trail map). Other distances: Oulanka National Park / Pieni Karhunkierros Trail 35 km. Reservations start at 16 and end at 12 (also weekend reservations).

Wir haben die Unterkunft mit 5 Personen für einige Tage gebucht und waren von der Freundlichkeit des Gastgebers begeistert. Die Anfahrt war vollkommen unproblematisch und die Location ist ein Traum. Bettzeug und viele Küchenutensilien sind vorhanden, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der See ist nur wenige Meter entfernt, ein Strand mit Feuerstelle ist auch vorhanden. Wir waren im Winter dort und haben Neujahr bei einem Lagerfeuer und Nordlichtern gefeiert. Die elektrische Sauna wurde auch ausprobiert und für gut befunden:) das Haus ist in einem Top-Zustand, sehr gepflegt und modern. Alles in allem eine tolle Erfahrung und unsere erste Adresse in Lappland!

We had such a lovely stay in this cabin! T., our host, was super helpful and provided us with detailed descriptions, so we couldn't miss the house, which was located in the forest, close to a lake. From this place, it is easy to go to Rovaniemi, Kuusamo and Ruka. Great restaurants and activities are close by. WWe even used the fireplace outside the cabin to celebrate New Year's under Northern lights. Absolutely fantastic, thank you, T.!
