The town of Zlata Olesnice, situated between the mountains Krkonose and Jizerke hory, is ideal for summer as well as winter holidays. Nationalpark Krkonose 20 km. Ski-resorts: Korenov-Rejdice, chair-lift 4 km, Paseky nad Jizerou 7 km, Sachty-Vysoke nad Jizerou (also very good crosscountry-routes) 7 km, Rokytnice nad Jizerou 10 km, Harrachov 12 km. In summer: Reservoir in Jablonec nad Nisou 15 km, mountain Jested, zoo, botanical garden, Boskovsko-dolomitske caves 10 km in Liberec.
