Location Description Thisted

Small, busy town with 13'500 inhabitants, in the southern part of the region, directly by the sea, 95 km south-west from Ålborg, 180 km south-west from Skagen. In the resort: shopping centre, supermarket, shops, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, museum. Indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, sauna. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Sights Thisted Brewery, Isbjerg, Nationalpark Thy 15 km.

Summer

Beach, gently sloping, suitable for children, 1 km from the resort. Sandy beach, gently sloping, suitable for children, 7 km from the resort. Sea water outdoor swimming pool 1 km. Golf course 18 hole 16 km. Minigolf. Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles for hire. In north-western Jutland, all the way from Skagen in the north to Agger in the south you can experience some of the finest, whitest and broadest sandy beaches in Northern Europe. Small, picturesque holiday towns are situated all the way along the coast. Some places it is still possible to watch the fishermen as they drag their boats up on the beach, as it has been done for hundreds of years. At Grenen, the northernmost point of Denmark, you can place each of your feet in different oceans, The Skagerak and the Kattegat. Anywhere along the coast you can enjoy some of the most scenic sunsets over the North Sea.

Schon im Vorfeld unseres Aufenthaltes hatten wir ein sehr gutes Gefühl mit der Buchung bei SOL OG STRAND. Wir wurden stets gut informiert und damit sehr gut vorbereitet auf diesen ersten Aufenthalt in dieser Gegend. 5 Sterne dafür. Schon der erste Blick ins Haus machte uns froh: alles war sauber,die Einrichtung gemütlich, genug Platz, genug Geschirr, Hafen in 2km Entfernung, alles zusammen ergibt 4 zufriedene Sterne fürs Haus und die Umgebung (5 wäre ja die erste Reihe zum Meer). Wir 4 Erwachsene waren voll einverstanden und kommen gerne wieder nach Vorupör,auch in "unser" Ferienhaus und auch it SOL OG STRAND.

Sehr niedliches kleines Häuschen mit schöner Terasse und großem, fast uneinsehbarem Grundstück. Schöne Wege um z.B. mit dem Hund spazieren zu gehen. Leider stimmen die angegebenen Entfernungen nicht mit den tatsächlichen (um einiges weiteren) überein. Zwei Fahrräder sind aber vor Ort vorhanden.

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub... Ute E.

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in dem geräumigen und gut ausgestatteten Haus! Für unseren Urlaub mit Hund ist die komplett eingezäunte Terrasse und das nach hinten ausgerichtete Gartengrundstück ideal gewesen! Die einzigen Dinge, die uns zu dem Punktabzug beim Ferienhaus bewogen haben, sind dass das Duschbad nur bedingt warm wurde und dass es lediglich einen einzigen deutschen TV-Sender gab. Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen!

Ein Gebiet in dem mehr steckt als man denkt. Wander und Fahrradwege laden zum Enddecken ein. Da steckt noch viel Abenteuer drin.
