Quiet village with 1'500 inhabitants, in the southern part of the region 17 km from the sea, on a river (Brede Å), 15 km north from Tønder, 65 km south-east from Esbjerg. In the resort: grocery, bakery, restaurant. Indoor aquatic centre, sauna at 15 km. Besides: doctor. More possibilities for shopping and entertainment 15 km. Sights Ecco skofabrik 200 m, Højer slussen 17 km, Ribe VikingeCenter 35 km, Kids' club Legoland 96 km, lakes nearby.

Summer

All watersports available in Lakolk, Rømø 30 km. Sandy beach, 10 km long, up to 900 m wide, gently sloping, with beach facilities, suitable for children, 30 km from the resort. Outdoor swimming pool 500 m. Surfing. Summer sports 5 - 20 km. Golf course 18 hole in Tønder 20 km. Minigolf. Fishing (permit required). Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles for hire. The west coast is rough, fresh, roaring and delightfully exhilarating. You will find long, wide and sandy beaches with high dunes as far as the eye can see. You can experience some of Denmark's most scenic sunsets over the North See from the beaches in western Jutland. If you prefer calmer water and characteristic natural experiences, you ought to visit the preserved peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are gambolling, or the bird sanctuary Tipperne at Ringkobing Fjord. These places offer impressive sights, as millions of migratory birds gather here every spring and autumn on their way towards north or south. By the lighthouse 'Blaavandshuk Fyr' you will find Denmark's most western point. Surrounding the lighthouse the many concrete bunkers still bear widness of World War II.

Schönes Haus, gut ausgestattete Küche, schöne Zimmer. Es fehlen manchmal Beschreibungen: für den Backofen, den Fernseher (Receiver fehlte) zum Beispiel. Und ein Hinweis auf die schwarzen großen Käfer wäre hilfreich gewesen, die überall in großer Zahl herauskamen, wenn es dunkel wurde.

Ein schönes Haus für Gruppen. Leider war die Sauberkeit nicht so gut. In der Küche befanden sich auf dem Boden noch Essensreste. Unter den Betten war viel Schmutz. Die Matratzen hatten, ebenso wie das Bettzeug teilweise große braune Flecken. Eine Aufhängung für die Dusche war abgebrochen. Das Trennen von Müll war kaum möglich, da die entsprechenden Mülltonnen voll waren. Trotzdem ist das Haus empfehlenswert. Ich würde es wieder buchen.

Huset er meget forsømt ang. vedligehold, men fungerede dog. I køkkenet var der kun 4 teskeer ellers masser af bestik, glas, kopper og tallerkner og hvad man ellers skal bruge i et køkken. Fine værelser.

Vi havde en fantastisk oplevelse sammen med familien nogle dage. Lædermøbler i opholdsstuen kan ønskes bedre. Kaffemaskine er meget langsom. Større model Kunne ønskes. Flere teskeer ønskes.

Det er et skønt hus, Men varmen virkede ikke og tv boksen. ud over ville ingen hjælpe os med at få flytte vores booking. Da vi skulle havde været på en familie tur med alle børn og børnebørn. og vi pludselig kun måtte være 10 og så 5. Så det var en stor skuffelse.
