Location Description Rømø

Large bathing resort with 600 inhabitants, in the western part of the region, directly by the sea, 70 km south from Esbjerg. In the resort: 1 - 10 km: grocery, butchery, bakery, restaurant, museum. More possibilities for shopping and entertainment 20 - 25 km. Sights Naturcenter Tønnisgård, Kids' club Rømø Lege- og Labyrintpark, Rømø Sommerland.

Summer

Sandy beach, 12 km long, gently sloping, with beach facilities, suitable for children, 3 km from the resort. Surfing. Golf course. Minigolf. Riding. Fishing (permit required). Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles for hire. The west coast is rough, fresh, roaring and delightfully exhilarating. You will find long, wide and sandy beaches with high dunes as far as the eye can see. You can experience some of Denmark's most scenic sunsets over the North See from the beaches in western Jutland. If you prefer calmer water and characteristic natural experiences, you ought to visit the preserved peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are gambolling, or the bird sanctuary Tipperne at Ringkobing Fjord. These places offer impressive sights, as millions of migratory birds gather here every spring and autumn on their way towards north or south. By the lighthouse 'Blaavandshuk Fyr' you will find Denmark's most western point. Surrounding the lighthouse the many concrete bunkers still bear widness of World War II.

Liebe Vermieter/-innen Wir haben mit 3 Generationen und Hunden eine tolle und erholsame Vorosterwoche in eurem Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist von ideal für Familien mit Kind/-ern und Hund, kpl. ausgestattet. Auch wenn es in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt ist, gibt es einen hochwertigen Gasgrill, Kinderhochstuhl und Mikrowelle. Der Strand, egal in welche Richtung ist recht weit ( mehr als 1,5 km), aber für die Kleinen gibt es ein in die Terasse integrierten Sandkasten, ein wirklich tolles Spielhaus, Trampolin und Schaukel. Leider hat dir Rutsche eine zu kurze Auslaufzone. Die umgebende Dünenlandschaft ist fast ursprünglich und sehr schön und arten-/wildreich. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet und mit Liebe und Geschmack ausgestattet. Nehmt Fahrräder mit und Rømø gehört euch. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und kommen gerne wieder.
