Open kitchen (dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, combination microwave). Upper floor: 1 room with 1 french bed (180 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 french bed (140 cm, length 190 cm). Bath/WC. Electric heating. Small balcony, north-east facing position. Partial view of the mountains. Facilities: washing machine, dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: TV only FR. Smoke alarm.

Location Description Argentière

1'252 - 3'720 m a.s.l. >>The village of Argentiere, with its mountain spirit, its old chalets, glacier and the Aiguilles. Village, summer holiday resort and winter sports resort, 8 km from Chamonix. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Disco. Glacier, hiking, indoor aquatic centre at 8 km. Besides: doctor. Zoo Parc animalier de Merlet aux Houches 22 km.

Summer

Argentiere, one of the obligatory stops on the Mont Blanc tour, is great for hiking with its beautiful countryside and the Aiguilles Rouges mountain range. Heated outdoor swimming pool 9 km. Tennis (5 indoor courts), golf course 18 hole in Les praz 6 km. 1 cableways, hiking paths, mountain hikes.

Winter

Argentiere is one of the largest resorts in the Alps with lovely surroundings. Ski-region des Grands Montets. 1 cableway, gondola lifts, chair lifts, drag lifts. Total 150 km ski runs. Cross country ski tracks. Ice rink at 8 km. Ski bus (free of charge). Further ski-regions: La Flégère at 7 km, Le Brévent at 9 km, Les Houches at 17 km. In Winter: please take snow chains.

Avons été très satisfaits de la location, appartement refait récemment, très cosie et bien situé (proche commerces et gare); au cœur d’un village au calme, à proximité de Chamonix

Bel emplacement pour les balades avec bus à proximité et toutes les autres commodités. Place de parking plutôt facile à trouve. Logement propre, literie confortable et tout ça dans un lieu très calme. Petit bémol pour la vaisselle inadaptée au petit lave-vaisselle, l’évier qui goutte toujours (attention aux factures d’eau), et le bac à douche très exiguë.

Great location, Hard to Check InGRAHAM P.

Great location for the village and the lifts. Nice, well appointed apartment that was clean and tidy. I would have been very good BUT receiving/returning the keys was hard work. We did not know until 2 days before departure that the keys would need to be collected/Returned in Chamonix rather than Argentiere. This is a problem if you’re an early/late out of hours pick up. We had an understanding transfer driver who agreed to detour into Cham to allow us to collect the keys. Beware1 !

Great location but a few issues with apartment Marj J.

This apartment is perfectly situated for all amenities and was a good size for myself and adult daughter. However there were no cleaning materials provided at all. I had to go and buy a dustpan and brush! Also the provided bed linen was ripped , one light bulb was out in the bathroom and the constantly dripping tap in the sink in the open plan living area was infuriating. So - great location but poorly serviced .

Thank you for your comments. We encourage guests to always contact keyholder in the case of missing materials for cleaning for example. There is a cupboard in the entrance hall where the broom, dustpan and brush is normally stored. We have informed the laundry about conditions of bedlinens. The dripping tap and lightbulb have now been fixed.

Todo estaba nuevo y muy bonito. La unica pega es que la ducha era muy pequeña, pero el resto del lavabo muy bien. La cocina comedor muy bien distribuida. Todo muy bien.
