Exit to the balcony. 1 room 10 m2 with 1 double bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room 10 m2 with 1 double bed (180 cm, length 200 cm). Kitchenette (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine). Bath/WC. Electric heating. Large balcony 10 m2, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Facilities: logs (extra). Internet (WiFi, free). Parking at 10 m. Please note: non-smokers only. Maximum 2 pets/ dogs allowed. Private entrance, smoke alarm, fire extinguisher.

Please note: suitable for families. Neighbourhood highly sensitive to noise. Quietness and good behaviour expected. Some of the holiday homes can be reached via steps. At the park entrance there is a bistro/café with a sun terrace, Sunday breakfast buffet, children's cinema, table football (limited opening times outside of the season). There is also the option of using a washing machine and dryer for a fee.

Location Description Frankenau

At the National Park Kellerwald – Edersee located small town, in the northern part of the region, 25 km south from Korbach, 20 km west from Bad Wildungen, 44 km east from Winterberg (Sauerland). All shops, restaurants etc. in Korbach. In the resort: shops, grocery, butchery, bakery. Indoor aquatic centre, thermal bath oder hot springs, sauna, solarium at 20 km. Bad Arolsen 44 km. Kassel 45 km. Marburg 45 km. The wooded area invites you to extensive cycling, hiking and Nordic walking tours. On the local heath experience path wilderness of the national park’s transition to the future is explained, the small local history museum in the district Allendorf shows the former life in the region. Water sports enthusiasts will find at Eldorado nearby Edersee with 69 km of coastline piece and relaxation in the Bad Wildunger Therme. Winter sports are possible in the nearby Sauerland.

Hvepse på altanen, og langt fra alting Mette R.

Tog hjem før tid - Første dag bemærkede vi hvepse under gulvbrædderne på altanen, så vi informerede om dette. På dag 4 kom der en og kiggede på det, men da blev det tydeligt at det ikke var første gang han var der, da de døde hvepse efterfølgende var nøjagtigt det syn vi også havde på første dag. Altanen var derfor ubrugelig. Stedet ligger langt væk fra alt, og de faciliteter der er på stedet er simpelthen for slidte, og slet ikke velholdte.

We regret that the location of this resort did not meet your expectation. It is written in the description that the closest grocery stores are 2 km from here. As for the wasps, although we have never had them nest in the proeprty before, they are not entirely inevitable, as the locateion is surrounded by nature. In any case, the specialists have removed the wasps' nest to allow full safe access to the balcony.

Das Ferienhaus und die Umgebung sind eigtl. sehr schön. Die Räumlichkeiten hell und angenehm für eine Familie mit zwei Kinder zu nutzen. Nur ist das eine oder andere technisch mal instant zu setzen. Der Balkon ist grenzwertig, dass Geländer könnte glaube ich abbrechen, wenn sich eine erwachsene Person dagegen lehnt. Die eine oder andere Lampe geht nicht. Das Internet hat vorsintflutliche 6 MBit. Der Fernseher ist ein kleiner Computer-Monitor. Man braucht ja kein TV und LTE Empfang ist gut !

Das Objekt selbst ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der Balkon im Obergeschoss braucht dringend neuen Boden und Handlauf. Alles aus Holz, sehr schön, aber brüchig und zum Teil wachsen Pilze aus den Bohlen. Unschlagbar ist die Lage, ganz wunderbar. Somit ist der Ort zur Erholung und Ruhe finden wirklich zu empfehlen und eine kleine Sanierung würde ich lohnen.
