Upper floor: 4 rooms with sloping ceilings, each room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). 2 rooms with sloping ceilings, without window, each room with 1 bed (90 cm, length 200 cm). 2 showers/WC. 2 terraces. Terrace furniture, deck chairs (4). Facilities: washing machine. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smoking house. Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed. Smoke alarm. Second kitchenette (4 hotplates, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine, combination microwave). PLEASE NOTE: The holiday home is the combination of the two separate semi-detached houses DE2959.622.1 and DE2959.622.4. The washing machine is in the left semi-detached house. Location Description Ditzum

Well-known fishing village with 650 inhabitants 1 km from lake, 10 km from Emden, 23 km from Leer, 29 km from Aurich. In the resort: supermarket, shops, bakery, bank, restaurant, museum. Sights Kirche in Ditzum, Kunsthalle Emden, Altstadt Groningen (NL) 70 km, Wellness park Friesentherme Emden, Fontana Resort Bad Neuschanz (NL) 27 km, Kids' club Leeraner Modell- und Spielewelt 19 km. Papenburg 43 km. Bad Zwischenahn 71 km. Norddeich 84 km. The idyllic Sieldorf with a colorful fishing port and traditional brick houses is located in the Rheiderland, south of the Ems, immediately before the confluence with the Dollart, across from Emden (car-ferry connection). The Ems offers a variety of sailing, surfing, fishing and swimming opportunities. The Dollart with its mudflats leads the interested observer into a unique flora and fauna interplay of the tides. There is an official swimming and surfing facility at the old Dyksterhusen oil rig. In the village: bike rental, tea room, a multitude of small shops, harbor cafés and restaurants, fresh fish and shrimp sales in the harbor, cutter trips, day trips with the excursion boat ‘Dollart Route’ to Delfzijl (NL), from May to October passenger ferry to Borkum every Thursday . In Ditzumerverlaad (3 km) boat rental (canoes, kayaks) .. Hiking trails. Ideal cycle path network, including the international Dollart route (180 km) and the German Fehn route (163 km). Swimming lake in Holtgaste (12 km).

Das Haus war bei unserer Ankunft nicht geputzt. Überall waren Spinnenweben. Die Madratzen im ganzen Haus sind durchgelesen und müssen dringend erneuert werden. Aus waren 2 Decken Lampen defekt. Wir haben unseren Urlaub dort verbracht, können es nicht empfehlen.

Wir haben beide Häuser mit insgesamt 13 Personen gemietet und mussten uns daher ein wenig arrangieren um gemeinsam essen bzw. für alle kochen zu können. Auch mit 7 Personen in einer Haushälfte hätte man das wohl tun müssen. Insgesamt hatten wir jedoch einen schönen Aufenthalt. Pro: Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und hat einen großen Garten. Contra: Zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten fährt man sehr lange.\nDie Küche war etwas dürftig ausgestattet und die Häuser sind sehr hellhörig (Geräusche aus dem Nebenhaus waren zu hören). Also eher nichts, wenn man nur eine Haushälfte mietet und die andere an Fremde vermietet wird.

Pro: sehr freundliche Vermieter, ruhig gelegen, genügend Räumlichkeiten Contra: Stand der Ausstattung (fehlender Backofen, kein Geschirrspüler, keine ordentlichen Messer) ist so ziemlich Voraussetzung um für eine größere Gruppe zu kochen;\ndie Grundsäuberung bei der Übernahme war nicht unbedingt zufriedenstellend,

Spinnenweben in allen Zimmern, Lampenschirme dreckig, Esszimmerstühle abgeranzt, Matratzen ekelhaft dreckig, Kücheneinrichtung nicht aktuell (nicht genügend Teller und Gläser), Duschkabine mit Klebeband geflickt, nicht richtig durch gewischt überall in den Ecken Staub und Dreck, Rutsche im außenbereich defekt, kein Wäscheständer vorhanden, an den Wänden Überreste von Toten fliegen. Diese Unterkunft ist für Familien nicht zu empfehlen.

Super ruhige Lage im grünen. Leider sieht man an vielen Stellen das das Haus und Inventar in die Jahre gekommen ist.
