In a superb arching coastline which runs from Otranto to S. Maria di Leuca. There are approx. 2500 residents but in holiday season the city is full of tourists. When you explore Castra, you enter a quiet zone allowing you to forget the stress and chaos of the city. Here the blue sea and the greenery meet giving it a varied atmosphere. From the Medieval hamlet rich in history to the harbour where you can see archaeological ruins which act as shops for the fishermen, rocky peaks, rich flora and fauna, a paradise for divers. From the wonderful cuisine to its varied entertainment. Summer holiday resort with 3'000 inhabitants, in the western part of the region, directly by the sea, 23 km south from Otranto, 30 km north from S Maria di Leuca. Sehr schöne geräumige und helle Wohnung mit Meerblick. Freundliche, zuvorkommende und hilfsbereite Eignerin die sich um jedes Anliegen sehr zeitnah kümmert. Besser geh es nicht!!!

Wspaniały pobyt na półwyspie Salento. Apartament jest przestronny i dobrze wyposażony, a z tarasu roztacza się piękny widok na morze. Wejście wymaga pokonania 90 stopni pod górę, samochód parkuje się na ulicy pod ścianą budynku. Polecam!

Der Aufstieg zur Wohnung war manchmal wegen der 85 Stufen beschwerlich, aber allein wegen ihrer Lage mit der tollen Aussicht ist sie sehr empfehlenswert. Die Vermieterin ist super nett u. sehr entgegenkommend gewesen. Die Einrichtung war zweckmässig und geschmackvoll, wenngleich einige Schränke zB im Bad, ersetzt werden müssten. Die Küchenausstattung könnte etwas besser sein, da wir selber gerne kochen, hätten wir uns einen Topf, ein paar Messer u. evtl. ein paar Schüsselchen mehr gewünscht.
