Location Description Ascona

196 m a.s.l. >>Ascona is the lowest-lying town in Switzerland. It lies 196 metres above sea level on the northern shore of Lake Maggiore. Ascona is famous for its old town, the southern lakeside promenade with its street cafés and its mild climate. In Ascona's old town centre, Borgo, lies the impressive church of San Pietro e Paolo, a pillared basilica from the 16th century, whose high bell tower is the landmark of the holiday resort. The branching old town streets lead to the car-free lakeside promenade with charming street cafés. Above Ascona lies Monte Verità, the mountain of truth. Here, lateral thinkers founded a colony at the beginning of the 20th century, which attracted celebrities from all over the world. Today, the mountain is a seminar centre for the universities of Lucerne and Zurich and a museum shows the history of the alternative colony and its founders. Wohnnung III/10: Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Die Wohnung hatte eine traumhafte Aussicht. Den Brötchenservice haben wir auch sehr geschätzt. Leider hatte das Bett keinen Rahmen, wodurch die Einzelmatratzen jeweils verrückten. Ansonsten waren die Matratzen bequem. Leider hatten wir über uns ein Paar mit herumrennenden Kind(er?), was man dann zwangsweise hörte.

Schöne Wohnung, Küche etwas spartanisch ausgerüstet (z.B. kein Brettli, kein Hobel bzw total stumpf, kein Tablett) dafür waren die Pfannen alle top, sogar die Bratpfannen! Die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Wir hatten das Pech, dass die Gäste ob uns oft sehr laut waren. Aber sonst gibt es nichts zu beanstanden, Brötchenservice super, auch dass man Getränke im Haus kaufen kann. Frau Z. und Frau F. waren wie immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt!

Wer am Abend auf der Piazza gegessen hat und zu Fuss zur Fehrienwohnung zurückkehren will, muss eine steile Strasse oder eine lange Treppe meistern können, wenn er das Auto nicht benützen will.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommende Ansprechpersonen vor Ort. Wohnung war sauber und alles hat funktioniert. Super Lösung mit der Internen Entsorgungsstation das spart Zeit und Wege. Auch der Kühlschrank mit einem kleinen Getränke Angebot in dem Garagenbereich ist eine tolle Sache, die wir gerne genutzt haben, bei der Ankunft wie auch in der Woche. Sehr schöner Ausblick, tolle Terrassen und spitzen Lage. In der Küche war auch alles super nur eine Bratpfanne wäre noch wünschenswert.

Die Lage der Anlage ist top. Das Haus ist schon etwas älter - zum Teil auch die Möbel in der Wohnung. Schade fanden wir, dass wohl mal Raucher in dieser Wohnung lebten und man das immer noch riechen kann. Der Preis in der Hochsaison ist zu hoch.
