Location Description Rømø

Large bathing resort with 600 inhabitants, in the western part of the region, directly by the sea, 70 km south from Esbjerg. In the resort: 1 - 10 km: grocery, butchery, bakery, restaurant, museum. More possibilities for shopping and entertainment 20 - 25 km. Sights Naturcenter Tønnisgård, Kids' club Rømø Lege- og Labyrintpark, Rømø Sommerland.

Summer

Sandy beach, 12 km long, gently sloping, with beach facilities, suitable for children, 3 km from the resort. Surfing. Golf course. Minigolf. Riding. Fishing (permit required). Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles for hire. The west coast is rough, fresh, roaring and delightfully exhilarating. You will find long, wide and sandy beaches with high dunes as far as the eye can see. You can experience some of Denmark's most scenic sunsets over the North See from the beaches in western Jutland. If you prefer calmer water and characteristic natural experiences, you ought to visit the preserved peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are gambolling, or the bird sanctuary Tipperne at Ringkobing Fjord. These places offer impressive sights, as millions of migratory birds gather here every spring and autumn on their way towards north or south. By the lighthouse 'Blaavandshuk Fyr' you will find Denmark's most western point. Surrounding the lighthouse the many concrete bunkers still bear widness of World War II.

Wir waren bereits das vierte Mal in diesem Haus, was ja bereits für sich spricht! Wir haben uns erneut sehr wohl gefühlt im Haus. Auch der Service von Sol og Strand war sehr gut, mega freundliche Mitarbeiter dort! Uns wird es garantiert wieder nach Römö in genau dieses Haus ziehen!

Schnelle und freundliche Antwort auf Fragen, jedoch sollte man sich nicht auf den Ableseservice verlassen und immer selbst die Stromzähler bei An- und Abfahrt kontrollieren. Wir hatten angeblich am Tag der Anreise vor unserer Ankunft zwischen der Zeit vom Ablesen bis zur Ankunft einen Verbrauch von 8kw/h (insgesamt waren die Nebenkosten für Strom in diesen paar Stunden etwa 40 Euro) und nach unserer Ankunft einen Verbrauch von nur noch 4 kw/h. Hier scheint definitiv eine gewisse Kontrolle nötig zu sein. Es wurde zwar versucht das zu klären, jedoch bestand man darauf, dass der Durschnittsverbrauch nichts aussage und das definitiv die richtigen Werte seien...

Toll gelegenes Poolhaus, mit abschließbarem Wasserbereich ( bei Kindern ideal) Für 8 Personen jedoch echt eng. Vorallem die Staumöglichkeiten für Klamotten liegen eigentlich bei Null. Kein Kleiderschrank. Nur Schubladen und eine Garderobe zum hängen.

Sommerhuset var ganske fint, og vi havde en skøn uge - den del bør understreges. Det store men: Vi lejede blandt andet huset fordi der var udendørs spa, og her føler vi os snydt. Spa'en var som sådan fin, men den var ikke til at holde varm. Ingen instruktioner nogen steder, og panelet reagerede ikke på respons. I sendte en mand ud, som løste problemet et døgns tid, men vi var altid i tvivl om den var varm til om aftenen. Jeg ved ikke hvad der var galt med den, men det er træls at stå i badetøj med bobler, og så droppe det hele, som vi gjorde flere dage. Pool'en og saunaen var til upåklagelig.
