Nordseeheilbad and well-known holiday resort, directly by the sea, 3 km from Norden, 33 km from Aurich, 38 km from Emden. In the resort: shops, bakery, post office, bank, restaurant. Indoor aquatic centre, sauna, solarium, health cures, massage. More possibilities for shopping 3 km. Leer 59 km. Wilhelmshaven 75 km. Oldenburg 98 km. Special recommendation (especially in the winter months) is the “Ocean Wave” with 30 degrees warm seawater wave pool and outdoor pool, as well as sauna area, solariums, whirlpool and various restaurants. Trip possibilities to the seal banks (high season), to the islands Juist and Norderney, also to Emden and Aurich. There is all year round possibility to explore whole Ostfriesland for only 1.00 EUR/ person / route with the tourist bus. IMPORTANT: You will get only one parking space when booking your holiday home or apartment. If you arrive with more than one vehicle, we must point out that additional parking spaces from the council incur an extra charge and are not always close to your holiday property. Rental of bicycles, e-bikes, child seats, etc. available through our local Interhome service office. PLEASE NOTE: The Lower Saxony authorities for water management, nature and coastal protection (NLWKN) are renewing the existing heavily damaged waterfront in Norddeich between the harbour and the dog beach to increase coastal protection and attractiveness of the beach area.
