Living/dining room with 1 double sofabed (180 cm, length 200 cm), cable TV (flat screen), hi-fi system and DVD. Exit to the balcony. 1 double bedroom. Small kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, electric coffee machine). Shower/WC. Balcony 15 m2. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and the countryside. Please note: non-smokers only.

Apartment block "Buchenhöhe". In the district of Buchenhöhe 7 km from the centre of Berchtesgaden, in a quiet, sunny position on a slope, 3.1 km from the skiing area. In the house: lift, central heating system, washing machine (extra), tumble dryer (for shared use, extra), drying room. Breakfast on request (extra). In Winter: please take snow chains. Parking at the house. Shop 50 m, supermarket 6.8 km, restaurant 1.8 km, bus stop "Buchenhöhe" 250 m, railway station "Berchtesgaden" 6.6 km, thermal baths "Watzmann Therme" 6.6 km. Walking paths from the house 25 m, slopes 3.1 km. Nearby attractions: Salzbergwerk, Kehlsteinhaus/Obersalzberg, Salzburg. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Rossfeld 9 km, Jennerbahn 11 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Königssee 11 km. Hiking paths: Nationalpark Berchtesgaden 11 km. 480 - 2'713 m a.s.l. >>In the southeast par of Bavaria, surrounded by the alps, there is the famou holiday resort, situated at the foot of a mountain, 10 km from Ramsau, 22 km from Salzburg, 55 km from Traunstein. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Thermal bath oder hot springs, sauna, health cures. The national park of Berchesgaden with trekking up to the Jenner (1874 m) and the Watzman (2173). Since 1517 the salt mine give the visitors a glance of old times.Good fun is to take a trip an the boats over the Konig lake (3 km) to the well know church of St Bartholomeo. Excursions to the Chiemsee, to Rosenheim (99 km) and the capital Munich as well as Austria.

Summer

Outdoor swimming pool 3 km. Waterpark "Watzmann Therme". Canoeing, river rafting. Golf course 9 hole. Fishing (permit required). Paragliding, summer tobbogan run, long 600 m. 2 mountain lifts, 240 km hiking paths, mountain hikes. Mountain bike routes, mountain bikes for hire.

Winter

Ski-region Jenner. 9 ski runs, total length 8 km (5 % easy, 95 % intermediate), snowboard slope. 87 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths 120 km. Toboggan runs. Ice rink, curling.

De ontvangst was op z'n allerminst vriendlijk te noemen. De vrouw bleef aan een heel hoge snelheid doorratelen in de het Duits zodat we amper konden volgen. Moeite troosten om trager te spreken deed ze niet. In de zogezegd gekuiste kamer vonden we nog een paar kousen, keukenrol lag op de radiator (foto's ter bevestiging) De afvoer van de douche zat quasi verstopt (diende minstens 10 minuten te wachten tot de volgende zich kon douchen of de badkamer liep volledig onder water).

Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern (3 & 5 J.) in der Ferienwohnung Buchenhöhe und könnten nicht zufriedener sein. Einfach eine optimale Wohnung aus unserer Sicht. Man kann alles in Berchtesgaden und Umgebung schnell erreichen. Hammer Aussicht, schönes und sauberes Badezimmer. Kleine Küche, die aber wirklich top ausgestattet ist. Kleiner Laden schräg gegenüber, um morgens frische Brötchen zu holen. Man kann aber auch unten im Hotel frühstücken (glaube für 14,90€ p.P.). Kommen definitiv wieder!

Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, alles was man benötigt, ist vorhanden. Das Bad ist modern und funktional. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung jedoch sehr unpersönlich und wenig wohnlich, der Einrichtungsstil entspricht einem sterilen Hotelzimmer, die blaue Farbe überall wirkt kalt und die hellen Strahler, auch am Bett, sorgen dafür, dass man sich nicht wirklich wohl fühlt. Zwei Monoblockstühle auf einem stets schattigen und ansonsten kahlen, riesigen Balkon laden nicht zum Verweilen ein.

Die Wohnung selbst ist schön und hat eine gute Lage. Aber: Bad total verdreckt, Fäkalien von den Vormietern in der Schüssel und unter der Toilettenbrille. Wasser in der Dusche läuft nicht ab weil der Abfluss mit Haaren und anderen Sachen verstopft ist. (Hatten das dem Schlüsselhalter mitgeteilt und wurde nicht behoben) Auch der Abfluss vom Waschbecken musste durch uns erstmal von den ganzen Haaren der Vormieter befreit werden. Das ganze Bad war total versifft. Die Küche war auch nicht besser. Die Beschwerde beim Schlüsselhalter und die darauf folgende nochmalige Reinigung brachte kaum Besserung. Auch die weitere Rücksprache mit dem Schlüsselhalter, der die ganze Angelegenheit klären wollte, und sich der Sache annehmen wollte, war fruchtlos. Gerade zu Zeiten von Corona sollte man auf Hygiene oder zumindest auf Sauberkeit achten.
