Supermarket 50 m, restaurant 200 m, bar 100 m, bus stop 300 m, sandy beach "Santa Margarita" 1.5 km, swimming bay 5 km. Sports harbour 3 km, golf course (18 hole) 15 km, tennis 2 km, minigolf 1.5 km. Nearby attractions: Parque Acuático Aquabrava Roses 1.9 km, Skydive y túnel del viento Empuriabrava 6 km, Museo Dalí Figueres 19 km, Monasterio de Sant Pere de Rodes 20 km, Castillo y casino de Perelada 20 km, Cadaqués 16 km. 5 m a.s.l. >>Well-known, idyllic fishing village and summer holiday resort with 11'500 inhabitants, in the north-eastern part of the region, directly by the sea, in a busy, convenient position with beautiful view, 150 km north-east from Barcelona, 15 km north-east from Figueres, 60 km from Frontera Francesa. In the resort: supermarket, shops, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, evening entertainment, cinema, attractions. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. More possibilities for shopping and entertainment 6 - 15 km. Situated north of the beautiful Gulf of Roses, Roses has a wide promenade lined by palm trees. You can take a swim on various beautiful sand beaches in the coves of Canyelles, Almadraba, Montjoi and Joncols. Next to them is the water park "Aqua Brava" with the biggest swimming pool in Europe with wave machine and the natural park "Aiguamolls" with a wide variety of bird species. In Empuriabrava (6 km) there are all types of facilities for water sports, one of the most important parachuting centers in Europe with its new wind tunnel, horse riding centers and tennis. There are two internationally renowned golf courses, the Golf Club Peralada 10 km and Torremirona Resort Golf Club 25 km and a "Pitch and Putt" 8 km. There is a possibility of cultural visits to some important sites such as the Dalí Museum in Figueres and the Greek and Roman ruins of Empuries.

Fijn vakantiehuis met 4 slaapkamers. Het grenst niet aan de zwembad tuin, dus klein stukje lopen. Bij gebruik van de 2 beschikbare kookplaat pitten en de oven, moet de airco uitgeschakeld worden, anders schakelt de stroomvoorziening voor het hele huis uit. Dit staat wel beschreven in de welkomstbrief, maar mag nadrukkelijker omschreven worden. Douche cabine begane grond mag wel vervangen worden.

We spent one week in Port Estrella Roses, two families with kids (7-13 yo), and I can really recommend the house itself and the area. The house is just lovely, very well equiped, comfortable and cosy. The terrace enables eating outside and resting in the evening. Rooms are ideal for families with children. Swimming pool was a great option for outside activities, before or after the beach. The location is within the walking distance from the lovely beach. Close to supermarket very convenient too.

Lors de notre séjour, nosu avosn noté deux points importants: 1) le compteur électrqiue n'est pas suffisant pour accepter le chauffe eau et 3 plaque de cuisson. Un technicien a dû être appelé pour venir nous dépanner. Ce problème est survenu plusieurs fois pendant le séjour mais le technicien nous a explqiué ce qu'il fallait faire. 2) Même si la location permet 8 personnes, les équipements de cuisine ne sont pas suffisants pour ce nombre de personnes.
